Overview

The PR301/PR302 unit is the masterpiece of the new generation’s PORTABLE DOCUMENT READERS. It’s FAST, it’s EASY and it’s ALL IN ONE!

The main goal during its development process was to create a stand-alone and MOBILE image capturing and processing device, thus making the use of additional desktop PCs or laptops unnecessary. To achieve this goal, our developers integrate in a just 16.9*16*10.5cm size and just 1.5kg*weight massive black box an industrial computer with display and keyboard and all the connectors needed in order to use it as a regular PC.

The PR301/PR302 takes both white and IR images with 300 dpi resolution, and use fast image taking and processing method and reliable OCR operation. The average time for one recognition cycle (image making + OCR) is less then 1 (one) sec!

The optimised power consumption and the professional batteries offer up to 5 hours autonomy.

The PR301/PR302 is delivered with an easy-to-use API supporting C/C++ environments on LINUX platforms. Using this functions library, custom-tailored end-user applications can easily be developed thus meeting special user requirements.

Its structure, the optical characteristics, the built-in industrial computer and the comprehensive functions library make PR301/PR302 a considerable and cost-effective solution for any application where mobility, high quality, robust and compact construction is a must.
