According to statistics there are currently more than half a billion cars on the roads worldwide. How does the CARMEN ANPR work?
· The camera takes a picture of the detected vehicle
· CARMEN locates the number plate within the picture and reads the number using character recognition technology
· The picture and relevant data is then forwarded to the system responsible for data storage and further processing
